چکیده
Based on the wave propagation method and improved Fourier series, coupled vibration model of double-sided immersion (DI) cylindrical shell under arbitrary boundary conditions is established, its characteristics are solved. The coupling characteristic experiment a DI condition carried out for first time. calculated natural frequency acceleration compared with experimental results, which not only verifies reliability theoretical but also proves effectiveness results. Finally, shells analyzed. results show that underwater immersed consistent those liquid filling shells. peak single-sided submerged greater than shell. spring stiffness at both ends can be divided into three sections: free boundary, elastic rigid boundary.

Numerical and Experimental Study on Ratcheting Behavior of Steel Cylindrical Shells with/without Cutout Under Cyclic Combined and Axial Loading
Ratcheting behavior of steel 304L cylindrical shell under cyclic combined and axial loading are investigated in this paper, numerically. Cylindrical shells were fixed oblique at angle of 20° and normal with respect to the longitudinal direction of the shell and subjected to force-controlled cycling with non-zero mean force, which causes the accumulation of plastic deformation or ratcheting beha...

15 صفحه اولVibration analysis of FGM cylindrical shells under various boundary conditions
In this paper, a unified analytical approach is proposed to investigate vibrational behavior of functionally graded shells. Theoretical formulation is established based on Sanders’ thin shell theory. The modal forms are assumed to have the axial dependency in the form of Fourier series whose derivatives are legitimized using Stokes transformation. Material properties are assumed to be graded in...
متن کاملExperimental and FEM Analysis of Ribs Defects on Composite Lattice Cylindrical Shells
In this study, the behavior of a composite lattice cylindrical shell is investigated in the buckling deforming. Also, the distribution of shell buckling response and the stress field is studied after making some defects on the ribs. Therefore using ANSYS software, a 3D finite element model of the shell has been created for the analysis. Material properties and geometrical data of the shell are o...
متن کاملVibration analysis of functionally graded cylindrical shells with different boundary conditions subjected to thermal loads
In the present work, study of the vibration of a functionally graded (FG) cylindrical shell made up of stainless steel, zirconia, and nickel is presented. Free vibration analysis is presented for FG cylindrical shells with simply supported-simply supported and clamped–clamped boundary condition based on temperature independent material properties. The equations of motion are derived by Hamilton...
